What’s new in March 2025?

We have a new Product Update from Horizons this month.

➡️ Horizons Launches New Time Tracking Feature 

We are excited to announce a significant improvement on our platform with our Time Tracking feature. This update will allow your employees to directly submit their working hours on the platform, making it easier for you to review and approve their timesheets in case this is an activity they need to do.

Timesheets are used to meet legal requirements and improve your internal processes, and not to impact or influence your employee’s payroll.

For Employees:
Easily track working hours, breaks, and overtime directly within the Horizons platform. Submit timesheets for approval to your line manager, ensuring a smoother workflow.

For Employers:
Simplify payroll and administrative tasks with automated time tracking and approval processes. Quickly review and approve timesheets, saving time and reducing errors.

Why is this important?

  1. Enhanced Efficiency: This feature streamlines your time management processes and eliminates the need for manual data entry or use other tools for this purpose.
  2. Improved Accuracy: Using this feature ensures accurate and timely submission of timesheets.

How it works:

  1. Employee Submission: After you provide your employees access to the feature, they can input their working hours directly into the platform.
  2. Client Review: You can review and approve timesheets at your convenience.
  3. Easy Access: All timesheet data will be readily available for your reference.

Next Steps:

To ensure a smooth transition, we encourage you to:

  1. Manage Your Employees Access: By default your employees will not have access to the feature. To grant them access you just need to go to the Settings and review the permissions to each team member.
  2. Start Using the Feature: Use the time tracking feature to experience it firsthand.
