The Philippines has a public health care system called the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth). PhilHealth aims to provide health insurance coverage to all Filipinos, and it does provide sufficient care for many medical needs.
However, while the government provides public healthcare services, the quality and accessibility of healthcare can vary depending on the region and resources available.
